How to start your journey as a Photographer

I am a teenage hobbyist, and I enjoy the art of photography. I love to (or at least try to) take ✨aesthetic photos✨. I’m drawn to the vibrant colors of nature and the contrast between light and shadow.
I got my digital camera, the Canon 250D, in late 2021. I loved shooting with it, even making videos for fun, as there wasn’t much to do during the lockdown 😅. I also watched a lot of YouTube videos (and still do) and learned quite a bit about photography, techniques, and similar topics. But here’s a secret: I never really cared much about sticking to the rules. What I mean is that I shot a lot and learned by capturing and experimenting. This helped me figure out what works and what doesn’t, as well as the limits of different tech—smartphones or digital cameras.
By shooting regularly and taking photography more seriously over the last two years, I’ve improved a lot. I’ve also learned how to edit and process RAW photos in Adobe Lightroom, which has helped me refine my style.
